Payment Methods Accepted.
Payment may be made by credit card or sterling cheque. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal. Please make cheques payable to
"JD-Books.co.uk". We will not accept dollar cheques.
- Unless prior agreement has been made, books will not be shipped until payment has been received.
- Payment or pre-authorisation is done through our credit card payment (Paypal) partner.
Delivery Schedule
We will process your order within 72 hours of Payment being cleared and stock being available. Delivery times are outside of our control, but for UK deliveries, you can expect to receive your book within 2 working days of being posted (Mon-Fri) if sent by our normal method, Royal mail 1st class recorded.
Overseas delivery is also subject to Customs clearance procedures and your local postal service delivery schedule. Airmail delivery can normally be expected within 2-6 working days, and surface mail can take anything up to 8 weeks, depending on where you live, please note we do not recommend surface mail.
Guarantee
All books are packed professionally in bubble wrap and shipped in boxes, some of the smaller books we will send in a padded envelope, again the book will be in bubble wrap.

Postage and Packing Charges (UK ONLY)
Within the UK, we will post First Class Recorded Royal Mail to you unless you specify different, please ask for a quote if insurance cover is required as we cannot accept responsibility for any books once we have posted them to you, we will always get proof of posting and/or recorded delivery tracking numbers, a copy of the tracking number will be sent to you via email.
Our charges (including packaging) vary, please see book for details, for multiple titles please ask for a quote as the delivery charge will work out less per book due to the Royal Mail pricing policy.
These costs are subject to change should Royal Mail prices increase.
Postage and Packing Charges (OUTSIDE OF THE UK)
INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS - Your purchase will be posted to you always by Airmail but will send by Surface Mail if you request it. We never recommend surface mail.
WESTERN EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS - Your purchase will be sent via Airmail. Our charges (including packaging) are as per book description but again, if buying more than one title please ask for a quote as it can work out cheaper than buying the book(s) individually:

In accordance with Royal Mail guidelines, Western Europe comprises of:

San Marino and Vatican City), Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway (inc. Spitzbergen), Portugal (inc. Azores and Madeira), Spain (inc. Canary Islands), Sweden, Switzerland (inc. Liechtenstein)
All other European countries will ship at the INTERNATIONAL RATE OF POSTAGE.
